Telly Awards:

2016 Bronze Telly Winner, Storm Challenge aired on WWL-TV and WDSU to 110,000 total viewers. Narrated by distinguished journalist Norman Robinson, Storm Challenge tells the story of Versabar, a heavy-lift specialist company located in Belle Chasse, LA. Versabar employees evacuated to many different locations across the country for Hurricane Katrina and then quickly tried to regroup at their newly acquired facility in northwest Houston. The documentary explores the last 10 years of the company after Katrina roared ashore in Plaquemines Parish and dealt the company a huge challenge: help cleanup the storm debris left at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico and the inland waterways. Over the next decade, the company built two Lift Vessels: the Bottom Feeder and the larger VB10000.These lift platforms made the rounds in the years after the storm retrieving sunken topsides and structures from the Gulf of Mexico. Storm Challenge takes you offshore to explain the massive industry cleanup of the Gulf with never before seen footage of intricate lifts. Finally, the story closes with the homecoming stories of several Versabar employees who returned to their roots in South Louisiana.

Versatile has a unique position as the official videographers for Versabar, the heavy lift company and creators of the VB10K. In this video project, Barrett Schreiner flys around the Gulf of Mexico shooting a lift videovfor Versabar. It takes a tremendous team effort to bring up the sunken topsides and scrap metal at the bottom of the Gulf, or in this case removing a decommissioned top-side. Versatile can handle the shoot and present a client with an excellent HD presentation.

Versabar and Yarbrough Cable team up to help Space Center Houston place the Space Shuttle replica Independence onto a Boeing 747 that will be a permanent exhibit teaching about the Space Shuttle era in America. Versabar owner Jon Khachaturian was on hand for the thrilling lift day that saw media from around the region and all the local TV stations doing their morning show remotes from the lift site at Johnson Space Center. Additional footage was provided by Space Center Houston.

As seen on Cox Sports TV:Take Odell Beckham, Jr. getting drafted in the first round, add the dynamic duo of quarterback Jay Tyler and running back Kendall Bussey, Jr and you have the makings of a 2016 Silver Telly winning documentary. Glory Days:Newman takes you through the season as the Greenies go for their first ever State Championship. The team advanced to the state semifinals but lost. Tyler signed with Stanford and Bussey with Texas A&M. Check them out this Fall in a stadium near you! Narrated by former Newman Greenie Lee Zurik.

Senior offensive lineman Matt Ryan of Newman was invited to play in the 2016 International Bowl. We end the Glory Days show going to Arlington, Texas, to watch Matt play against Team Canada. This also was the last time Matt's grandfather, legendary NFL coach Buddy Ryan, saw him play in person. Buddy Ryan died in June, five months after the INternational Bowl.

Class of 2017 Girl's Soccer Player Linnea Mosvold's Recuiting Video.

A special season requires a special tribute. So we rented out the Prytania Theatre in Uptown New Orleans, the oldest theatre in New Orleans and threw out the “green carpet” and invited some special guests. See the bold names for yourself, hint some NFL connections are included. Shown left to right: Paul Atkinson, Barrett Schreiner, Bethany Schreiner and Jon Khachaturian.

Versabar OTC videos--Integrated Lift Management video prepared for the Versabar 2013 OTC booth. Versatile made a series of (4) :30 TV spots that ran on monitors in the Convention Center at Reliant for the large tradeshow. Versatile also edited three long-from videos. Mark Yohe, a Versabar manager, explains Integrated Lift Management as a concept.

Netchex Image Video--Will Boudreaux hired Versatile to create a few client testimonial videos for one of INC. 500 Fastest Growing Companies--Netchex--of Mandeville, LA. The following is the Netchex Corporate Image video that talks about where the company started from and the philosophies that has helped it become a leader in payroll software for companies of all sizes. Used at Netchex Convention.

HCIA Gala: The HCIA (Harvey Canal Industrial Association) is a key economic driver for business on the Westbank of New Orleans. For their 50th Anniversary Gala event, Executive Director Peggy Bourgeois wanted a special video presentation to tell the history behind the organization and let former Presidents tell stories from their past service. Versatile produced the video and we are proud to show it on our site.

Former Superdome PR executive Bill Curl told me that John Curtis might be fielding its best ever team in 2012. I wondered what that team would look like on the field so Versatile got a camera to every game home and away and produced another of our season long sports documentaries. John Curtis went undefeated and was named the National Champions of high school football for the first time in its 50-year school history. The show premiered on Cox Sports TV on January 26, 2013. This is a perfect example of the high quality video production Versatile can bring to any project.

Manning 2 Manning--Well this started our love affair with long form television sports documentaries. I read the Manning book in late 2000 and one sentence in the book said TV show: it opens our show. Peyton talks about the 1991 high school season as QB of the Newman Greenies as his most special season of football. I said there's a story there let me get an interview. Archie loved the idea and got Peyton to do a sit down interview in Indianapolis. We talked for 90-minutes just on high school football and that team. Manning 2 Manning debuted on WWL-TV after a Saints game to a 16.7 rating/27 share. HUGE numbers for any effort, much less our first 30-minute TV show! It's Family and Football in that order.

In 1995 Paul Atkinson introduced America to Newman Greenie sophomore QB Eli Manning. Check out Melissa Stark, who went on to be the Monday Night Football sideline reporter. Melissa was the host of the show that season.

Kendall Bussey, Jr. had a fabulous senior season. He was named one of the top running backs in America and signed with Texas A&M. He took a redshirt last year and figures to be a feature back for the Aggies in 2016.

Cooking with MoMo--275,000 hits on the internet mean we might have done the video right. We worked with our favorite Sushi chef Mo Mo of Ninja Restaurant in New Orleans to create a series of short, fun videos teaching the basics of sushi preparation to the masses. We show Mo Mo's personality, which is infectious, and take viewers to world-class food. Watch for yourself or better yet visit her restaurant on the web or on Oak Street.

Glory Days: A Season with the Wildcats--Our first nationally televised sports documentary. Glory Days followed Ryan Perrilloux's senior season at East St. John in 2004. Ryan set state and national records during the year and was named the 2005 Ken Hall National Player of the Year at the US army All-American game. He beat out Mark Sanchez and Desean Jackson for the award. Interesting point: the show was going to premiere on Saturday, August 27, 2005, on WGNO in New Orleans. Katrina washed away the show but it did make it to CBS Sports Network (formerly CSTV) for a 2-month licensing deal.

The Mighty Mississippi River. Barrett went down to the ferry landing and shot footage from a tourists point of view. Enjoy the time lapses of river traffic and the fun ride back. Along the way he visited the Moon Walk and St. Louis Cathedral. Way down yonder in New Orleans...

Barrett Schreiner was tasked with compiling some stock footage of one of the most beautiful cities in the world: New Orleans. So with his JVC HD camera he went to Audubon Park and shot for an afternoon. Using time lapse footage and creative shooting angles what resulted was a cool look at the Park and its visitors.
